What’s new in Val d’Isère in February?

It’s finally time for your ski holiday and you’re going to be able to get the best out of our wide open spaces for your preferred activities. Welcome to paradise !

What’s better than skiing down the Face de Bellevarde ? Face up to the challenge and tackle one of Val d’Isère truly classic runs. Our tip for best piste conditions, ski it first thing in the morning, just after the lifts open.

What’s new in Val d’Isère in February ?

Come along and try your hand at riding an electric Fat Bike on snow
Instructor guide Olivia offers a free 1 hour taster session on a special route through the “Sources” to get the feel of this new winter sport.
– Start from the FAT BIKE chalet next to the Tufs restaurant in La Daille
– Free session
– Lasts : 1 hours
– Limited number of spaces – 10 max / Sign up at the tourism office
Children 12 years +, minimum height 1.5m
Bring along gloves and a helmet
From 10.30am to 11.30am – Tufs Chalet in La Daille

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in style with Val d’Isère Telepheriques. Invite your loved one to a romantic evening at the top of Solaise cable car.
FOR COUPLES
– Meet from 5.45pm at the foot of Solaise cable car.
– Romantic aperitif in the Solaise lounge.
– Cost : 90 € per couple

This race is open to all holidaymakers wishing to have a go at giant slalom competitive skiing.
– Knockout competition.
– 3 categories: children (born in or after 2006), men & women.
– Free entries at Tourist Office from Monday.
Limited number of entries: 16 places in the ladies category, 32 places for men and children.
Dynastar skis to be won in each category.
Bib collection at 5.30pm
Race starts at 5.45pm on the Savonnette slope.

A festive display by the instructors from the French national ski school of their technical savoir-faire. On the programme:
– Freestyle show,
– Torchlight descent
– Firework display
– Hot mulled wine served by the instructors

Xavier awaits you at the local farm to show you around.
See the animals, cheese making, join in milking the cows, guided tour and local produce to taste
Price: 6€ – 2€ 5 to 14years /free for under 5’s – Lasts 50mn
It is compulsory to sign up in advance at the Tourist Office (max. 25 participants)
9.30am: Meet at the farm
