Qantas added to its list of aviation firsts non-stop flights from Perth to London using the 787-9 Dreamliner. Non-stop flights from Perth to London. The 14,498 kilometre service will be the first regular passenger service to directly link Australia with Europe.The first non-stop commercial flight between Australia and the UK has touched down in London.

QF9 arrived to London at 5.02am local time on Sunday morning after a 17-hour long-haul from Perth. This is the third longest route in the world. The flight marks the first time Australia and Europe being connected by non-stop flight.<\/p>\n

Qantas flight QF 9 departed Perth at 6:45 pm and arrivd at London, Heathrow at 5:05 am next morning. Qantas flight QF 10 departed London Heathrow at 1:15 pm and arrived back in Perth the next day at 1:00 pm. The outbound journey is scheduled at 17 hours, 20 minutes, while the return is 16 hours, 45 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To fly Qantas ordered eight Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners for flight of this distance. The airline is planing to put the jet into service on routes from Melbourne to San Francisco, Brisbane to Los Angeles and as a connecting flight from Los Angeles to New York JFK.<\/div>\n
