Tignes – Val d’Is\u00e8re: Find out what’s new!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Two close neighbours, Val d’Is\u00e8re<\/strong> and Tignes,<\/strong> have officially adopted “<\/strong>Tignes – Val d’Is\u00e8re”<\/strong> as their new brand identity. This designation is the fruit of the two resorts\u2019 continued collaboration and an illustration of all the things they share: the ski area, the bike park, our joint products, positioning and marketing campaigns.<\/p>\n

Winter has settled down in Val d’Is\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h3>\n

With one of the best snow records in Europe, Val d’Isere is regarded as one of the best resorts in the world. Connected to nearby Tignes, the area boasts more than 300km<\/strong> of skiable terrain, extensive off-piste sections, and skiing at elevations of up to 3,000 meters. It’s a common misconception that Val d’Isere is only for specialists, but there are plenty of large, gentle pistes for intermediates, and the wonderful nursery slopes in the town center are free for beginners. With one of the best lift systems in Europe, the ski region rarely experiences long lines, even during the busiest seasons of the year.<\/p>\n

Tignes:<\/h3>\n

The Loop Bar<\/strong> has ski-in, and ski-out access at the bottom of the Trolles slope, plus a huge south-facing sun terrace that\u2019s ideal for soaking up the rays after a long day on the snow. Once the night rolls in, simply get up on the tables and start dancing.<\/p>\n

La Folie Douce<\/strong> is the premier apr\u00e8s-ski hotspot, hosting parties since 1980. The pub is situated at the summit of the Dallie cable car in the Val d’Is\u00e8re, easily accessible from Tignes. The notorious pub is well-known across the globe for its exciting DJs, crazy parties, and outstanding performances.<\/p>\n

Drop Zone<\/strong> is the best place to catch some apr\u00e8s rays because it boasts the largest south-facing deck in the resort. A winning combo is to provide some of the resort’s cheapest beer together with a happy hour from 3-6 pm. Savor the vibrant ambiance featuring live bands, DJs, and live sports shown on TV.<\/p>\n

Val d’Is\u00e8re<\/h3>\n

The largest nightclub in Val d’Isere is called Doudoune<\/strong>. Some of the largest evenings in the Alpes are held there throughout the season, with DJs like Roger Sanchez and Danny Howards from BBC Radio One presenting frequent events. It is open from 22:30 and is located beneath Cocorico Apr\u00e8s Bar on the Rond Point. Every month on the 21st, they host the “big Club 21 party,” which is accessible to everyone. This is the spot to go if you’re looking for a big-night “out-out.”<\/p>\n

Dick’s Tea Bar:<\/strong> This legendary location first welcomed guests in 1979 and has been drawing throngs of exuberant skiers and snowboarders ever since. Dick’s Tea Bar is situated across the Christina Hotel from the main road and opens at 22:30. The pub turns into a bustling nightclub with a sizable dance floor and a VIP area at 1:00 a.m. There’s no reason not to dance the night away till five in the morning with an in-house saxophone, percussionist, and violinist.<\/p>\n

Some of the best live bands in the Alpes can be found in Cocorico<\/strong>, along with reasonably priced drinks and an unbeatable ambiance. Cocorico is available daily from 14:00 to 20:00 at the main lift area. This outdoor pub can get very full during the busiest times of the year, so we recommend arriving early, especially if you want to secure a table for dancing!<\/p>\n
