On April 15, 2023, the 15th edition of the legendary Gamsleiten criterium will take place.<\/h1>\n

More than 1,000 treasure hunters will occupy the marked area next to the top station of the Gamsleiten chairlift to get their hands on one of the treasure chests. The night before, they are buried in the utmost secrecy, and the field is crossed with a shovel so that there are no traces.<\/h4>\n

This year’s main prize in the biggest Austrian treasure hunt is a BMW iX1 worth as much as 72,000 euros.<\/p>\n

\"lova<\/p>\n

Searchers, armed with small shovels, feverishly dig through the snow in search of 30 hidden treasure chests. They contain valuable prizes. Skis, stay at the ski resort, various equipment, trips are just a part of the prizes hidden under the snow. But it’s not easy because the spatulas are small, just the right size for arranging flower jars. However, every year so far, the chests have been discovered and the lucky winner has driven home with a new car. The grand prize is the keys to a brand new, fully electric BMW iX1.<\/p>\n

\"Take<\/p>\n

Treasure hunters and all curious spectators can get to the scene of the hunting grounds on skis, snowboards or on foot. But the starting signal for digging is subject to strict regulations: skiers and snowboarders have priority. They ski down Gamsleiten 2 and can immediately start breaking through the terrain, while hikers can only begin their quest when the last skier or snowboarder arrives.<\/p>\n
