Long security lines, delays and a growing list of pared-down amenities. There are ways to make flight a better experience. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>BE POLITE, PLEASE<\/em><\/strong> Some passengers during the flight, are exasperated when they board because they have had a stressful time getting to or at the airport and take their frustrations out on flight attendants. They also become testy with flight attendants because their preferred meal choice ran out, the Wi-Fi isn\u2019t working or the flight is delayed. All of this attendants don\u2019t control. Politeness, including saying please and thank you when making requests or being served, creates a more positive mood for everyone.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>SAFETY FIRST<\/em><\/strong> Some fliers ignore one or all of three passenger no-no\u2019s that affect their safety. They get out of their seats, they don\u2019t buckle up when the seatbelt sign is on, and they hang out in the galleys, where food and trash carts, which can weigh as much as 200 pounds, could potentially move and hit them or roll over their feet. You can get injured by not following the safety rules.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AMENITY KIT<\/em><\/strong> Consider carrying an amenity kit with a few essentials to make your flying more comfortable. Include a neck pillow, a sweater or a blanket. Other items to have in your kit: lip balm and a travel-size lotion and a noise-reducing headset.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>BRING SOME FOOD<\/em><\/strong> Did you know that most flight attendants fly with their own food? Keep your palate satisfied by bringing snacks like fruit, protein bars and sandwiches. If you follow a special diet bringing food is a must.
