Ski amadé = investment The Ski amadé regions are constantly investing in lift systems, service quality and snow guarantee.

This includes investment in new lift projects such as the construction of the new 10-person Planai/Schladming cabins – the main cableway for the Planai – and completion of the new 10-person Gabühelbahn in Dienten am Hochkönig.
Ski amadé = snow guarantee • 90% of the skiing area, which is around 684 km of slopes, can be artificially snowed in Ski amadé • More than 4,000 snow cannons produce around 15 million m³ of artificial snow • Snow production using exclusively pure water and air, in line with the Austrian purity law • Winter 2018/19: valley runs possible on an average of 126 days from Decem- ber until the end of April in Ski amadé last season • Costs for around one m³ of artificial snow: approx. € 3.25 • Proportion of artificial snow costs to total costs: approx. 25% • Average revenue per day’s skiing: approx. € 33.09 • An average of around € 8.25 is put towards artificial snow per ski day / ski pass • 170 members of staff & 160 snowcats guarantee perfect slopes!
