Côte de Beaune also has a collection of beautiful wine châteaux: Aloxe Corton, Pommard, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet, Santenay. Often surrounded by their vineyards, they offer a different face of the wine world, historical heritage, visits to the winery, the cellars, sometimes a restaurant, a table d’hôte and rooms in the château where you can extend this special experience.

Domaine Château de Pommard

At the Château de Pommard, our wines are produced from five different Terroirs within a single Clos. This is the largest monopoly held by a single owner in Bourgogne today. We welcome visitors to the Château de Pommard from all over the world to discover our passion and taste a selection of our wines. We offer three tasting experiences, all run by our wine advisers: Expérience Pommard (15€), Expérience Clos Marey-Monge (25€) and Expérience Simone (75€).

Prosper Maufoux

The Prosper Maufoux visit Duration: about 4Hrs 10:30AM: welcome with a flute of Crémant de Bourgogne in the Maison’s cellars! Presentation of our Maison, founded in 1860. Explore the vineyards and Santenay village. During a stroll (1.5 km) we invite you to learn about winegrowing, the classification of the appellations, the terroir and climats that give Burgundy wines their individual characters and make our village so appealing. Visit our vaulted cellars, built one on top of the other. Vinification, ageing and barrels. Our Maison, located on Santenay’s main square, boasts superb vaulted cellars built on two levels, the oldest of which dates from the 15th century. Wine-tasting of 8 wines, with a “Burgundy Brunch” Amid our barrels you will discover 8 village appellations and 1er cru wines from Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. This commented tasting will be accompanied by a brunch composed of typical regional dishes.

Domaine du Château de Meursault

For history and wine enthusiasts, no tour of Bourgogne would be complete without a visit to the Château de Meursault. Its magnificent cellars dating back to the 12th century contain some 800,000 bottles and more than 2,000 barrels.
The Château de Meursault estate owns 65 hectares of vineyards on the Côte de Beaune, with prestigious AOCs like Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay, Puligny-Montrachet and, of course, Meursault.
The Château de Meursault offers tours, wine-tastings and activities for individuals, groups or corporate events, by reservation only.

A Beaune based Domaine and Maison de Vin. Vinification, and aging of red and white wines on the dregs in new barrels.

Majestic feudal estate (9th, 12th, 17th cents.) former property of Philip the Bold, Duke of Burgundy (1342-1404). 95-hectare domaine comprising 8 different appellations. Vinification and elevage in cellars which combine modernity and tradition.
